Drop = (Tablecloth size in cm − Table size in cm) ÷ 2

Example:
If your table measures 240 cm long and the recommended tablecloth is 300 cm, the drop will be:

(300 − 240) ÷ 2 = 30 cm

What if the drop isn't the same on the length and the width?

Small difference (1–5 cm):
✔️ Virtually unnoticeable.
✔️ It won't affect the overall look or balance of your table.
✔️ A difference of up to 5 cm will still result in a beautifully proportioned tablecloth.

Moderate difference (5–10 cm):
✔️ It becomes slightly more noticeable but can still look beautiful, especially with a fabric that drapes naturally.
✔️ More visible on smaller tables, while on larger tables it is far less noticeable.
✔️ If the longer sides have a greater drop, the table may appear visually longer.

✅ Everyday cleaning:

Use a damp cloth or a soft sponge to wipe away food residue and spills.

Avoid scouring pads or abrasive cleaning products, as they may damage the protective finish.

✅ Machine washing (only when necessary):

Temperature: Cold water 🌡️

Cycle: Gentle or delicate 🌀

Detergent: Mild detergent only. Do not use fabric softener or harsh cleaning products. 🧴

Spin cycle: Low and gentle to minimise wear.

✅ Drying:

Do not tumble dry. 🚫♨️

Lay flat to air dry to help prevent creases and marks. 🌬️

✅ Ironing (only if necessary):

Use a low heat setting (maximum 110°C). 🔥

Always place a cloth between the iron and the tablecloth. ⚠️
