QUICK CLEANING (RECOMMENDED)
For everyday cleaning, simply wipe with a damp cloth or a soft sponge to remove any food or drink residue.
💡 This is the safest method to preserve the stain-resistant treatment and keep the colors looking vibrant for longer.
WASHING & DRYING
If you decide to wash your tablecloth, please follow these guidelines:
- Cold water and a low spin cycle.
- Do not use fabric softener.
- Use a moderate amount of detergent and avoid harsh cleaning products.
- Avoid brushes or any utensils that could damage the fabric.
Do not tumble dry: high heat may damage the stain-resistant treatment and affect the color. Always air dry, preferably in the shade.
⚠️ IMPORTANT
Frequent washing may gradually reduce the effectiveness of the stain-resistant treatment or cause slight fading, especially in dark or very vibrant colors.
This is normal for treated fabrics and is not considered a manufacturing defect.
STAIN CARE
To keep your tablecloth in perfect condition, clean any stains as soon as possible.
⚠️ IMPORTANT
The stain-resistant finish is designed to make everyday life easier: stains do not easily penetrate the fabric and can usually be removed with very little effort.
However, to keep your tablecloth in perfect condition, it is best to clean stains as soon as possible.
This is especially important for stains that are more likely to leave color behind, such as red wine, coffee, or tomato.
If these types of stains are left for several hours, they may penetrate the fabric and leave a mark. That is why we recommend removing them as soon as possible.
This is normal for any treated fabric and is not considered a manufacturing defect.
IRONING
You usually don’t need to iron the tablecloth. Small creases will often disappear once the tablecloth is placed on the table and settles naturally.
Also, gently wiping the surface with a damp cloth helps relax the fabric and remove many marks.
If you have guests coming over, you can place it on the table a little beforehand so it naturally takes shape.
We only recommend ironing it if it has been folded incorrectly and very visible creases remain.
In that case, always place a cloth between the iron and the fabric, use a low temperature setting, and avoid direct steam. Excessive heat may damage the stain-resistant treatment.
STORAGE
Store your tablecloth completely clean and dry, folded or rolled up, and protected from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
EXTRA CARE TIPS
-
Do not store your tablecloth while it is still damp, as this may cause mold and unpleasant odors.
-
Avoid overloading the washing machine, as excessive friction may cause wear to the stain-resistant treatment.
-
Use placemats or heat-resistant trivets under very hot dishes and cookware to help prevent marks or damage to the fabric.
